My latest Riley King novel, ‘Beware of Darkness’, debuts March 17 in paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon.
The book brings Jason Black and King together for the second time, as the protagonist of ‘Three Chords and the Truth’ prevails on Riley for a dangerous favor. He has come into the possession of a manuscript that tells the true story of what happened at a rock star’s palace where five people were slaughtered. The FBI has created a phony cover story, but Black’s live-in lady, Katrina McCann, wants to expose the feds as liars.
When the agent King entrusts to safeguard the book is killed, King suspects that the government is willing to sacrifice civilian lives to continue the coverup. It’s further complicated by the fact that the agent in charge is Dan Logan, Riley’s longtime friend and confidante.
The book’s title continues my recent trend of using Beatles’ songs, (in this case George Harrison’s) on the cover. The pricing is quite affordable, in hopes that you’ll enjoy a compelling read at a great price.
